Alright, so I screwed my self-education up…(Kind of)

This is kind of like my “apology” post for my post on how I was going to self-educate myself as a content marketer…or how I would quit my low-paying job

I didn’t do either.

I did began studying on my own, but I didn’t follow the path I set planned. I also did not quit my low-paying job, I was laid off due to COV-19.

But that’s beside the point. Life is not about what you don’t do. It’s about who you become as a result of what you actually do.

So here’s what I actually did (or am in the process of doing):

  • Education: My original plan was complicated, so I shaved it down with a focus on copywriting, coding, and coaching. I’ll be taking a course in each one or practicing specific skills from a resource in each area during the week.
  • Job/Career: I’ve figured out that I need (and prefer) a full-time job with a side hustle, rather than either one of them alone, so I’ll be looking for a new job (hopefully in the tech industry, because I want to get my nerd on) and the side hustles will be in copywriting and coaching (sprinkling in any nerdiness as well).

That’s all, just keeping myself updated because I’m looking forward to writing more here….
