Icarus is falling but he is rising. Icarus is dying as a mortal but being reborn as a legend. Icarus is being mocked yet he is mocking. Icarus is alone but surrounded by all the love a human ego needs.

Icarus

From the moment

Your feet

Left the ground

You never looked back

Icarus

From the moment

Your wings

Touched the sun

You never looked back

Until your foolish folly was done.

Icarus is rising but he is forever falling. Icarus is a legend that died a mortal. Icarus is mocking those who don’t know but can’t hear his own mocking. Icarus is surrounded by ambition but alone in love.
