I once read in a book a story about two college dropouts.
Both college dropouts struggled to find their way in the world.
One dropout ended up creating one successful startup after another.
The other, ended up in one dead-end up job after another.
When both of them were asked about the impact of dropping out of college, the successful dropout said, “Dropping out of college was the greatest thing to happen to me. I learned to not depend on a piece of paper to guide my future.”
The other dropout said, “Dropping out of college was the worst thing to happen to me. I learned that not having a piece of paper destroys your future.”
